{"id":3493,"date":"2026-05-12T13:17:56","date_gmt":"2026-05-12T11:17:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zaragoza.iepgroup.es\/blog\/ambassador-school-for-the-race-against-hunger\/"},"modified":"2026-05-12T13:35:35","modified_gmt":"2026-05-12T11:35:35","slug":"ambassador-school-for-the-race-against-hunger","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zaragoza.iepgroup.es\/en\/blog\/ambassador-school-for-the-race-against-hunger\/","title":{"rendered":"Ambassador school for the race against hunger"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On 7th May, we received a plaque accrediting us as an <strong>Ambassador School <\/strong>for the <strong>Race Against Hunger<\/strong>, a distinction awarded by <a href=\"https:\/\/accioncontraelhambre.org\/es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Action Against Hunger<\/a> in recognition of the entire educational community\u2019s commitment to <strong>values-based education<\/strong>, empathy and <strong>social responsibility.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The plaque was presented by the organisation\u00b4s representative, Teresa Alc\u00e1zar, to Edward Morrell, a Primary tutor and one of the key organisers of the event in previous years. In addition, Teresa led various<strong> awareness-raising workshops<\/strong> for the students, bringing them closer to the reality faced by millions of children around the world and helping them understand how small gestures can bring about significant changes. <\/p>\n\n<p>On the following day, we held <strong>another edition<\/strong> of the Race Against Hunger, once again taking part in this charitable initiative which aims to combat child malnutrition and promote values such as solidarity, empathy and global commitment.<\/p>\n\n<p>This <strong>recognition<\/strong> as an Ambassador School reflects our commitment to continuing to promote education that makes a difference, in line with the values of<strong> Dukes Education<\/strong> and with an educational vision dedicated to the human and social development of its children.<\/p>\n\n<p>We would like to extend our special thanks to Action Against Hunger for this distinction, and also acknowledge the <strong>involvement of students<\/strong>, <strong>families and teaching staff<\/strong>, whose participation and commitment enable initiatives such as this to continue <strong>growing<\/strong> and having an <strong>impact <\/strong>both inside and outside the classroom.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 7th May, we received a plaque accrediting us as an Ambassador School for the Race Against Hunger, a distinction awarded by Action Against Hunger in recognition of the entire educational community\u2019s commitment to values-based education, empathy and social responsibility.
