Colegio Inglés Zaragoza is a private bilingual school for students aged 3 to 16, located in a lovely natural environment. As the first Spanish-English bilingual school in Aragon, we started our activity in 1970 with the aim of providing our pupils with the best quality education, both academically and personally, as well as real bilingualism in English and Spanish.
Surrounded by the same natural environment as always, today the school is part of the IEP, International Education Partnership, with 7 private schools in Spain. In addition, from 2023, IEP has expanded its international reach by becoming the first in the country to join the prestigious British group Dukes Education.

How are we different?
01 REAL ENGLISH
As authentic pioneers of bilingual education in Aragon, at our school English is not just another subject, but a means of communication that the children learn to use fluently from the age of 3. Our native teachers, all trained in the UK and Ireland, are a guarantee of practical and real language learning: “We don’t teach English, we teach in English”.
02 A small BIG FAMILY
We are a small BIG family. In 2020, the school became part of the International Education Partnership, whilst retaining the qualities of a small, tight-knit educational community, able to offer a personalised attention that allows each student to develop their full potential at their own pace. Since 2023, IEP has expanded its international reach by joining the prestigious British group Dukes Education, providing our school with new opportunities for development in a global environment.

Our model is underpinned by academic excellence, with a focus on every child as an individual, prepared to face the future with the guarantee of success. Our aim is to provide students with the best tools, knowledge and skills to enable them to develop critical thinking, be flexible and emotionally secure.

We provide the best technological resources, such as digital whiteboards or Google Chromebooks, to improve the educational experience to the maximum in a safe environment. Technology is always used at the service of education, using a methodology that takes advantage of it to create responsible digital citizens, whilst allowing students to acquire knowledge and develop skills without the constant need for screens.

What makes us different?
A methodology based on practical and active learning: Students have fun while learning, thanks to a methodology that awakens their curiosity and independence and makes sure they are active participants in their own learning process.
Individualised attention: We are a small, friendly school. We help children and young people discover and develop their own interests and talents so they can reach their full potential, adapting ourselves to the individual needs and rhythms of each one of them.

At this stage, our pupils discover, construct and organise their knowledge, with the expert mediation of their teachers, placing special emphasis on reading, oral and written expression, arithmetic and mathematics, working through cooperative learning.
